Über die Therapie der Komplizierten Acne Vulgaris

Zusammenfassung

Diese kurze Übersicht soll die Ursachen erhellen, aus denen Patienten mit Akne ein Behandlungsproblem darstellen können, und gleichzeitig Therapieoptionen vorschlagen. Es gibt vier Hauptgründe, weshalb Patienten suboptimal auf die Behandlung ansprechen:

  1. 1.

    Der Patient ist verantwortlich durch schlechte Mitarbeit (Compliance).

  2. 2.

    Der Arzt ist verantwortlich durch unzulängliche Diagnose der Akne.

  3. 3.

    Bestimmte Akne-Formen sind trotz adequater Zusammenarbeit zwischen Arzt und Patient schwer therapierbar.

  4. 4.

    Medikamenten-Nebenwirkungen können die Therapie beeinträchtigen.
