Abstract

The surgical treatment of inflammatory diseases of the paranasal sinuses has changed dramatically in the last few years with the development of new technology in equipment and operative techniques and better understanding of the pathophysiology of the ostiomeatal complex (OMC). These new techniques include transnasal micro-endoscopic surgery.
