Zusammenfassung
Fall 1. Eine 52 jährige Patientin wurde in den vergangenen 12 Monaten wiederholt bewußtlos und zyanotisch aufgefunden.Sie wurde jeweils unter dem Verdacht auf eine Herz-Kreislauferkrankung intubiert und intensivmedizinisch versorgt. Bis auf eine ausgeprägte respiratorische Globalinsuffizienz und Kyphoskoliose fanden sich keine Hinweise für eine manifeste Erkrankung.Auch das Vorliegen eines Myokardinfarktes oder einer anderen Herz-Kreislauferkrankung konnte wiederholt ausgeschlossen werden. Unter kontrollierter maschineller Beatmung erholte sich die Patientin in 24 Stunden vollständig und konnte wieder entlassen werden. Die Patientin war während ihres ganzen Lebens gesund. Die Kyphoskoliose hatte sich als Folge einer Poliomyelitis in der Kindheit entwickelt.
