Zusammenfassung

Der Pathomechanismus des chronischen Schulterschmerzes ausgehend vom subakromialen Raum wurde von Neer (1972) schon frühzeitig beschrieben: Die Einklemmung der Supraspinatussehne erfolgt im engen Raum unterhalb des coracoakromialen Bogens. Die Einengung kann vom Schulterdach, der Bursa, der Supraspinatussehne selbst oder dem Humeruskopf ausgehen.
