Summary
Globalization of markets and shorter product and technology cycles have led up to an intensification of competition in many markets; thus, multinational firms face the necessity of an effective and efficient management of international R&D activities. This article focuses on two main aspects of international R&D management: planning and organization of international R&D activities.
