Abstract

Hemangiomas are benign vascular tumors of the liver of unknown etiology. According to literature reports on autopsy series, their prevalence may be as high as 20% in adults (Karhunen 1986). They can be multiple in up to 10%.There is a female predominance (F-to-M ratio 5-6 :1).
