Es handelt sich um den Versuch, den Einfluß des Windes (Windgeschwindigkeit w * auf den Wärmeübergang zwischen dem menschlichen Körper und seiner Umgebung durch eine entsprechende Temperaturangabe zu eharak-terisieren. Dies ist ein aus grundsätzlichen Überlegungen problematisches Konzept, das jedoch häufig, z.B. in Wettervorhersagen, verwendet wird.
