Zusammenfassung

Bei Leberkranken bestehen regelhaft Stoffwechsel- und Ernährungsstörungen, die je nach Ausprägung die Prognose der Krankheit entscheidend beeinflussen. Entsprechend wurde der Ernährungszustand als eine von 5 Variablen der ursprünglichen Fassung des prognostischen Index von Child und Turcotte berücksichtigt.
