Zusammenfassung

Die mediane Lage von Vagina und Uterus im kleinen Becken ist aus der Entwicklungsgeschichte zu verstehen (s. Kap. 2). Aus der trichterförmigen Anatomie des Beckens resultieren unmittelbare topographische Beziehungen zu Blasenboden und Urethra sowie zum Rektum und Analkanal. Auch ergibt sich daraus zwangsläufig, das es sich beim sog. Parakolpium lediglich um äußerst schmale Bindegewebslamellen handelt. Seitlich schließen sich die Mm.levatores ani und die Beckenfaszie an.
