Zystische Aufweitungen der „letzten Drüsen“ sind physiologische Befunde im Bereich einer konsolidierten Umwandlungszone (s. 7.3.3, 7.3.4). Die größeren, kolposkopisch sichtbaren Retentionszysten werden auch als Ovula Nabothi bezeichnet (vgl.Abb.100).
