Abstract

Patients with excessive axillary sweating often suffer inordinately. Conservative therapy usually does not bring them sufficient long-term relief, so a surgical procedure is recommended as a promising alternative therapy. This requires complete removal, or as complete as possible, of the sweat glands involved.
