Zusammenfassung

Bei Frakturen der gelenkbildenden Strukturen des proximalen Unterarms ist stets mit einer Beteiligung beider Gelenkkörper und der stabilisierenden Bandverbindungen bis zum Vollbild der Luxationsfraktur zu rechnen. Die Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthesefragen berücksichtigt in ihrer auf M.E. Müller zurückgehenden Klassifikation diese pathomechanischen Zusammenhänge (Müller et al. 1992). Unterschieden werden

  • extraartikuläre Frakturen eines oder beider Knochen (A),

  • intraartikuläre Frakturen eines Knochens ohne oder mit extraartikulärer Beteiligung des Nachbarknochens (B) oder

  • intraartikuläre Frakturen beider Knochen (C; Abb. 3.1).
