Zusammenfassung

Frakturen des distalen Humerus zeigen eine Häufung im Kindes- und im hohen Lebensalter. Bei Erwachsenen kommen sie eher selten vor. Die erste Erwähnung fanden diese Frakturen bei Granger (1818). Weitere historisch wichtige Beschreibungen stammen von Malgaigne (1847), Hahn (1853), Kocher (1896), Lubinus (1924) und Böhler (1930).
