Zusammenfassung
Die proximale Fraktur der Ulna mit ventraler Luxation des Radiusköpfchens wurde erstmals 1814 durch Monteggia beschrieben. Die Inzidenz beträgt etwa 2% bei Unterarmbrüchen bzw. 10,8% bei Ulnafrakturen. Die vordere Luxation des Radiusköpfchens stellt mit 60–80% die häufigste Luxationsrichtung dar, gefolgt von der Luxation nach dorsal bzw. lateral in 10–15% und 6–15 %.
