Erkrankungen bzw. Verletzungen des ZNS führen häufig zu neuropsychologischen Symptomen. Diese wirken sich negativ auf die private und berufliche Reintegration aus. Eine differenzierte neuropsychologische Diagnostik kann:

Differentialdiagnostische Hinweise geben

im Rahmen von Verlaufsmessungen Aussagen über Progredienz, Spontanremission und therapeutische Effekte machen und
-
Grundlage für eine multidimensionale Rehabilitation sein. Letztere kann auch ambulant durchgeführt werden. Entsprechende Therapiemöglichkeiten sind bei der „Gesellschaft für Neuropsychologic“ zu erfahren (GNP).
