Abstract

Postoperative urinary incontinence can be encountered after radical retropubic or perineal prostatectomy, transurethral surgery, or open adenomectomy. With refined techniques in prostatic surgery and better endoscopic equipment for transurethral surgery, the rate of incontinence should be reduced.
