Zusammenfassung

Die wichtigste alkoholassoziierte Erkrankung der Bauchspeicheldrüse ist die chronische, meistens kalzifizierende Pankreatitis, die sich klinisch häufig unter den Symptomen einer „akuten“ Pankreatitis manifestiert. Bevor auf diese Erkrankung näher eingegangen wird, sollen die Wirkungen von akutem und chronischem Alkoholgenuss auf die Bauchspeichedrüsenfunktion kurz zusammengefasst werden.
