Zusammenfassung

Keloide, Narben und Tätowierungen sind Hautveränderungen, die kosmetisch stören, vor allem dann, wenn sie an sichtbaren Körperregionen lokalisiert sind. Der Arzt wird vom Patienten oft mit übertriebenen Erwartungen aufgesucht. Doch eine Wiederherstellung der ursprünglichen Verhältnisse ist in der Regel nicht möglich, und der Therapeut wird mit viel Geschick versuchen müssen, in jedem Einzelfall auf der Basis der vorhandenen Möglichkeiten und seiner Erfahrung eine kosmetisch akzeptable Lösung zu finden. Die neueren Lasertechniken haben hier eine bessere Ausgangsbasis geschaffen. Doch ist die Entwicklung neuer Geräte derzeit noch im Fluss, und die bisherigen Erfahrungen befinden sich in ihrem Anfangsstadium. Verbindliche Richtlinien zu entwerfen ist daher in dieser Phase kaum möglich.
