Therapie der Hautkrankheiten

Zusammenfassung

Akute und chronisch verlaufende Hautkrankheiten sowie Hautsymptome bei zugrunde liegenden systemischen Erkrankungen stellen bei Kindern eine häufige Diagnose dar, die unter optimalen Bedingungen gemeinsam vom Pädiater und Dermatologen betreut werden sollten. Die Mehrzahl der pädiatrischen Erkrankungen kann vom Hautarzt in der Regel ambulant in gewohnter häuslicher Umgebung behandelt werden, wobei das Kind von einer ihm vertrauten Person versorgt werden kann. Nur wenige Erkrankungen erfordern eine klinischstationäre Betreuung. Wird diese jedoch erforderlich, sollte vor allem bei Kleinkindern ein Elternteil im Krankenhaus mit aufgenommen oder eine kontinuierliche Besuchsmöglichkeit gegeben werden, um eine Trennungsangst zu vermeiden. Vor allem akute Erkrankungen, die mit Fieber und Schmerzen einhergehen, erzeugen bei Kindern und Eltern Angst.
