Zusammenfassung

Im Verlauf einer Schwangerschaft werden Haut, Schleimhäute und Hautanhangsgebilde durch die damit verbundenen metabolischen, hormonellen und immunologischen Umstellungsprozesse auf die unterschiedlichste Weise beeinflusst. Einige dieser Veränderungen werden bei einer Vielzahl der Schwangeren beobachtet und daher als physiologische, schwangerschaftsbedingte Phänomene angesehen. Andere, seltener auftretende Symptome werden als schwangerschaftsbedingte Krankheiten der Haut, als Schwangerschaftsdermatosen, definiert.
