Abstract
Before collecting the fundamentals of quantum mechanics, it may be worth to take a closer look at some key ingredients of the toolbox of theoretical physics which provide us with some elementary comfort during our study of quantum mechanics: the so-called generalized functions and more specifically, the step function and the delta function as well as the space of functionals [14].
