Zusammenfassung

Granulome können bei einer Vielzahl von Erkrankungen in der Leber auftreten. Die Bezeichnung granulomatöse Lebererkrankung (Synonyme: Lebergranulome, granulomatöse Hepatitis) ist keine abschließende Diagnose, sondern ein Hinweis auf das Vorliegen hepatischer Granulome und eine Aufforderung, die vielfältigen ätiologischen Möglichkeiten abzuklären. Meist liegt auch keine Hepatitis im eigentlichen Sinne vor. Daher sollte der häufig synonym verwendete Begriff „granulomatöse Hepatitis“ auf Patienten mit Lebergranulomen und einem entzündlichen Symptomen- und Befundkomplex unklarer Genese, bestehend aus Fieber, Myalgien, Hepatosplenomegalie, Arthralgien, beschränkt bleiben.
