Zusammenfassung
Bei Nukleoproteiden handelt es sich um nichtessenzielle Proteinkomplexe, deren prosthetische Gruppe Nukleinsäuren sind. Ihre Bedeutung liegt zum einen in ihrer Funktion als Bausteine der menschlichen Erbsubstanz, zum anderen als freie Nukleotide als Kofaktoren zahlreicher enzymatischer Prozesse.
