Zusammenfassung

Die heparininduzierte Thrombozytopenie Typ II (HIT Typ II) ist eine schwerwiegende Komplikation einer Heparingabe. Sie beruht auf einer durch heparinspezifische Antikörper vermittelten Thrombozytenaktivierung, die zur intravasalen Aggregation führt. Zahlenmäßig ist v. a. die HIT bei der Thromboseprophylaxe mit Low-dose-Heparin von Bedeutung.
