Zusammenfassung

Im menschlichen Organismus verläuft die hämatogene Metastasierung über die Schlüsselorgane Leber, Lunge und Skelettsystem. Dabei entscheidet die Art und die Lokalisation des Primärtumors über den Organbefall im Rahmen der hämatogenen Metastasierung. Die Vorstellung, dass zum Beispiel beim Befall der Leber grundsätzlich eine diffuse Metastasierung vorliegen muss, wurde von Walther (1948) widerlegt.
