Zusammenfassung

Schmerzen im Bereich des Beckens und hier in erster Linie in der Region der Hüfte stellen ein häufiges Ereignis dar. Sie können eine Vielzahl von Ursachen haben, z. B. Veränderungen nach Trauma, Arthrose, Infektion, Arthritis, transienter Osteoporose und avaskulärer Nekrose. Eine Diagnosefindung ist bei Vorliegen eines chronischen Hüftschmerzes oft schon mit der Evaluierung eines Nativröntgenbildes möglich. Die fehlende Pathologie auf der Röntgenübersichtsaufnahme stellt dann eine Indikation zur Durchführung einer MRT dar.
