Zusammenfassung

Wie in Kapitel 2 dieses Untersuchungsteils noch ausfuhrlicher dargelegt wird, befasst sich die Erfolgsforschung mit der Suche nach den Spitzenleistungen in der Untemehmenspraxis. Einerseits geht es urn die Analyse liberdurchschnittlich erfolgreicher Praktiken sowie den Voraussetzungen ihrer Übertragung auf andere Anwendungsfelder (Benchmarking). Andererseits sollen die Schlüsselfaktoren identifiziert werden, durch die sich die Gesamtheit der exzellenten Untemehmen bzw. strategischen Geschäftseinheiten von der Gesamtheit der nicht erfolgreichen signifikant unterscheidet (Erfolgsfaktorenforschung).
