Abstract
Uranium ore in Chu-Sarysu province is confined to pinched out stratiform zones of oxidation developed in permeable non-lithified alluvial and coastal-marine Mesozoic and Cenozoic deposits The study of uranium content in Paleo-gene deposits related to geological history of the development of the region shows that the commercial uranium ore controlled by regional stratiform zones of oxidation is polychron, and the formation of major mineral deposits is caused by favourable integrated complex of interrelated geological processes.
