Abstract

Computer simulations of chemical systems have become increasingly popular in the last decades due to the availability of fast computers. However, computer programs need input data to work and in the case of modeling chemical systems these input data may consist of, e.g. stability constants and element composition in the water. All these input data are encumbered by uncertainties. This paper discusses an approach for handling and quantifying some of these uncertainties.
