Zusammenfassung

Unter der Pneumatosis coli, bekannt auch unter den Synonyma Gaszysten des Darmes, Pneumatosis cystoides intestinales, Pneumatosis intestini, Pneumatose, Lymphopneumatosis, Darmwandemphysem, versteht man eine seltene, bevorzugt beim männlichen Geschlecht auftretende Erkrankung des Intestinaltraktes, die durch subserös, submukös oder in Lymphgängen lokalisierte bzw. mit spaltartigen Abb.5.1. Pneumatosis coli Lymphgefäßen in Verbindung stehende [3], mit dem Darmlumen jedoch nicht kommunizierende, gashaltige Zysten gekennzeichnet ist (Abb.5.1).
