Zusammenfassung

In der Partnerschaftsforschung wurde eine große Vielfalt von standardisierten Verfahren zur Erfassung von Partnerschaftsmerkmalen entwickelt. Der überwiegende Anteil stützt sich auf den expliziten Selbstbericht per Fragebogen. Es gibt aber auch alternative diagnostische Zugänge wie experimentelle oder auf Interviews gestützte implizite Messverfahren sowie Systeme zur Kodierung partnerschaftlichen Interaktionsverhaltens. Die Schwächen und Stärken dieser methodischen Zugänge werden diskutiert und typische Verfahren beispielhaft dargestellt. Als Fazit lässt sich festhalten, dass es keinen idealen Zugang zur Diagnose von Partnerschaftsmerkmalen gibt. Ein tief greifendes Verständnis des vielschichtigen Phänomens Partnerschaft erscheint nur möglich, wenn die spezifischen Vorteile der verschiedenen Verfahren kombiniert werden und so methodische Einseitigkeiten und Verzerrungen überwunden werden.
