Abstract
Our study aims at showing the importance and the influence of stray losses in copper squirrel cage induction machine’s dynamic behaviour. Its operates an important role on the machine’s efficiency but also on electromagnetic torque characteristic’s look.
First, the question is to know the origin of these stray losses and after, identify the effects on the torque in terms of speed characteristic and on the efficiency in terms of effective power characteristic. Finally it could be interesting to see how to make it optimal.
