Blutgruppenserologische Untersuchungen bei der Transfusionsvorbereitung befassen sich überwiegend mit erythrozytären Merkmalen und deren korrespondierenden Antikörpern. Untersuchungsziele sind die Bestimmung von Blutgruppenmerkmalen zur Auswahl geeigneter Blutkomponenten und die Sicherung der serologischen Verträglichkeit von Spendererythrozyten.
