Abstract
This chapter covers structural abnormalities including diverticulum, hernia, varix and fistula, and motility abnormalities including achalasia, diffuse esophageal spasm, and scleroderma. As fluoroscopy plays a useful role in evaluating the motility disorder as well, radiologists should be familiar with these entities and their radiological findings.
