Abstract

Resource-conservative traffic is the formidable requirement of the modern society towards traffic development. This paper, targeted at the expressway expansion project, came up with the project management and technical scheme of the reinforced widening embankment with no extra land acquisition by keeping in line with the framework of Conservative Traffic and introducing the integrated management approach. With the example of Fokai expressway, this paper, conducted an analysis of the widening embankment with no extra land acquisition project by adopting methods such as geotechnical centrifugal model test, numerical analysis and on-spot monitoring. Furthermore, this paper tested that the high feasibility of the expressway reinforced widening embankment project, but also that this project managed to save money.
