Abstract

In the central nervous system, an intraventricular occurrence of hydatid disease is rare. In this chapter, we present the management of two cases of multiple exclusive fourth ventricular hydatid cysts, both primary and secondary, and discuss problems associated with the diagnosis and management of this condition based on information from a critical review of cases with intraventricular hydatidosis published in the literature to date.
