Study of Fault Diagnosis for Helicopter Rotors

Abstract

In order to find the imbalance fault of helicopter rotors, the theory of fault diagnosis for the rotors is studied. Filtering and HHT method were used to analyze the vibration signals of the rotors. The criteria of the signals for the faults are obtained and the adjustment methods are also given. Finally, demo software of fault diagnosis for a helicopter is developed. The result can be used to develop fault diagnosis system.
