Ontology Construction in Tea Pest Domain

Abstract

Ontology is a conceptual model for the expression of shared knowledge. In this paper, we propose a method to construct an ontology in the tea pest domain by ontology reasoning and evaluation. The constructed ontology lays a solid foundation for agricultural ontology services, such as diagnosis and control of tea pests, information resources sharing for tea farmers and knowledge reuse in the domain of tea science.
