Zusammenfassung

Die personenorientierte Entwicklungspsychologie wird als eine Alternative zur traditionellen variablenorientierten Methode vorgestellt. Theoretisch verankert ist diese im holistisch interaktionistischen Ansatz der Stockholmer Arbeitsgruppe um David Magnusson (Bergmann und Magnusson 1997). Dieser Ansatz begreift das Individuum als eingebettet und eng verwoben mit seinem Kontext. Theoretische Überlappungen gibt es aber auch zur amerikanischen und deutschen Entwicklungspsychologie (vgl. Lerner und Busch-Rossnagel 1981; Silbereisen und Noack 2006), die das Individuum als aktiven Agenten seiner eigenen eingebetteten Entwicklung betrachten. Statistisch gesehen wird der personenorientierte Ansatz mit der Konfigurationsfrequenzanalyse (KFA; Krauth und Lienert 1973; von Eye 2002; Stemmler und Heine 2017) und den log-linearen Modellen umgesetzt, die zur Analyse von Kreuztabellen bzw. von Kontingenztafeln benutzt werden. Mittlerweile steht ein open source R-paket namens confreq (Heine 2015) für eine solche Analyse von Kontingenztafeln zur Verfügung.
