Zusammenfassung

Mit dem Begriff der Infektion hat sich der Begriff der spezifischen Antikörperbildung verbunden und damit die Vorstellung, daß der Antikörper, abgesehen von seinem Wert für die Diagnose, für die Pathogenese der betreffenden Krankheit und letzthin auch für die klinische Heilung eine Bedeutung hat.
