Zusammenfassung

AT1-Rezeptorantagonisten können die verschiedenen Funktionen der Niere von Nierengesunden und -kranken beeinflußen (13, 20). Positive und negative renale Wirkungen der AT1-Rezeptorantagonisten sind denkbar. Beim Einsatz der AT1-Rezeptorantagonisten in der Therapie z. B. von Patienten mit arterieller Hypertonie sollte der behandelnde Arzt diese renalen Wirkungen kennen, um erwünschte Effekte zu erzielen und unerwünschte möglichst zu vermeiden.
