Das folgende Kapitel III hat Systeme von Differentialgleichungen erster Ordnung sowie die Differentialgleichung zweiter Ordnung bei zwei unabhängigen Veränderlichen x, y zum Gegenstand. Entsprechende Probleme bei mehr als zwei unabhängigen Veränderlichen werden wir im Kapitel IV behandeln.
