Abstract
For a long time in Italy the problem of sounding rockets has been studied. If you have a multi-stage rocket, there are two ways to follow in the flight procedure:
-
(1)
to ignite every step one after each other;
-
(2)
to delay, for instance, the ignition of the second stage for a certain time during which the vehicle is coasting. This coasting flight can be done together with a burn-out first stage or after separation from the burn-out first stage.
