Summary
A new computational approach to analysis of variance is introduced which makes use of the principles of the permutation test. This technique is more robust than the conventional one. The method is quite general and can be used for any type of experimental design. Another aspect of the approach is that it utilises the method of unweighted means in order to cope with the problems of interpretation that arise from non-orthogonal designs.
