Abstract

A review of experimental research performed at different laboratories on coherent bremsstrahlung of electrons in crystals is presented. Methods for producing and monitoring quasi-monochromatic, linearly polarized photon beams at cyclic and linear electron accelerators are considered. Spectral and orientation dependences of bremsstrahlung intensity and polarization in crystals are presented and discussed.
