Zusammenfassung
Fortschritte im Bereich der Breitbandkommunikationstechnik machen die Installation von Breitbanddiensten wie Bildfernsprechen und anderen Bewegtbilddiensten möglich. Über ein diensteintegrierendes Breitbandnetz wie z.B. dem durch das RACE-Programm der Europäischen Gemeinschaft angestrebten Integrated Broadband Communication Network (IBCN) kann dem Nutzer in Zukunft ein vergrößertes Spektrum an Diensten zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
