Results of endoscopic guided surgery in tympanoplasty for cholesteatoma

Abstract

Between 1979 and 1991, 166 cases of cholesteatoma were operated by a single surgeon, This was therefore a uniform series. 125 cases had a closed-technique eradication. 41 cases underwent open-technique tympanoplasty, and 25% of these had a modified radicalcavity (fig. 99).
