Abstract

Human dental enamel samples have been irradiated with a 5 KHz Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser. The generated effects were evaluated by Knoop microhardness and membrane permselectivity studies. The results showed an increase in the knoop hardness and a modification in the membrane permselectivity.
