Summary
Ultrasound biomicroscopy allows in the living eye the postoperative examination of the wound region in the limbal area and the position of the IOL haptics in the posterior chamber. It shows that in small incision surgery (tunnel technique) in the postoperative period the structure of the incision area is very stable. In addition, the exact localisation of the haptic position of the implanted intraocular lens is possible.
