Abstract
Weinbaum (1965) proposed a simplified mathematical model for the human eye which constitutes a valuable framework. Although his model provides for changes in the volume of the vascular bed and in the aqueous humour formation rate, the pressure-dependence of the latter was not then available. In order to obtain an analytical solution, he found it necessary to consider only linear viscoelasticity, i.e. just one but not both of the fast and slow relaxation exponentials.
